Research Paper Poster

 Research Paper Poster.

Once you have submitted your Research Paper on one aspect on "British-ness," start working on a poster which visually represents the key information of your work.

Your poster can be in A3 or A4 format, handwritten or typed, or a mixture of both.

Information to Include?

Your Name

Your area of study (see image above)

Your focal point

Your question /thesis statement

Your essay plan (but not necessarily in a linear and boring fashion)

Key quotes/ideas/themes/statistics/graphs

Illustrations

The goal?

You will present your poster, and so your research paper, during our "Poster Day" (in room 210 or 001, for example).

Circulating students will stop at your booth/table and listen to your 2-3 minute presentation of your poster/research paper and will ask you questions about your findings and interest in the matter.

Grade for poster?

10 points on Pronote.

Can I use any software to help me?

Yes, you can use this as an occasion to discover new tools, such as the poster-making service on Google docs, but don't get carried away... pen and paper can work just as well.
